a Bug

I decided to try your shard, it looks extensive, and very interresting...

I ran into a roadblock. Your Stat Gates after chosing to be Human did not work. No one was online to tell this to. I was looking forward to playing, I might try again sometime in the future, hoping that you get this fixed.

Welcome! And thanks for the report.

There are only two statgates in NUO. A warrior and wizard. Every character must pass through them upon creation. No one has ever reported them as broken so I'm assuming either:

1. you mean a different gate somewhere else

or

2. you were mistaken? try standing on top of the gate for a moment or two. If you run through it, it does not teleport. I will be around tonight if you require further assistance. Icq me 60502834 or I will look for you ingame.

Neither StatGate changed my stats, and one of the statgates told me that I may not enter.
I was unsure if you had seperate ones for each class, or if they were all the same one.
I will attempt to "stand still" on the gate for a few moments and see if there is anything that I missed.

*edit* I logged into your shard, I had logged off in the StatGate Room, so I was right there. I could not step into the same square as either moongate. One Gate would give me the message "You may not enter" and the other I simply could not approach. There was no "passing through" whatsoever. My stats remain unchanged.

Again, thanks for the bug report. This turned out to be something quite odd and uncommon. But it was indeed a tiny bug that you discovered. Its been addressed and your character should be good to go dana.
